Disclaimer
This website is an independent, unofficial guide to the Prime Minister's Youth Chromebook Scheme. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the IBCC (Inter Board Committee of Chairmen), the Prime Minister's Youth Programme, the Government of Pakistan, or any board of intermediate and secondary education.
The scheme, its name, and all official decisions about eligibility, merit lists and device distribution belong to the authorities running it. We simply explain the process in plain language so students and parents can apply correctly and avoid common mistakes.
Always trust the official portal
Applications are accepted only on the official portal: pmychromebooks.ibcc.edu.pk. If anything on this site differs from the portal — a date, a document requirement, an eligibility rule — the portal is right and we are out of date. Please flag the difference through our community discussions so we can fix the page.
Apply only on the official .edu.pk portal
Every popular government scheme attracts fake websites, social media pages and paid agents. Some copy the look of official pages to harvest CNIC and B-Form numbers; others charge fees for a process that is completely free. Protect yourself:
- Apply only at pmychromebooks.ibcc.edu.pk — check the address carefully, including the .edu.pk ending.
- Never pay anyone to submit your application.
- Never share your CNIC, B-Form, date of birth or documents on Facebook pages, WhatsApp numbers or unofficial forms.
- This site will never ask for your documents or login details.
No guarantees
We work hard to keep this guide accurate, but we cannot guarantee that any student's application will be accepted, that any name will appear on a merit list, or that a Chromebook will be delivered by a particular date. Those decisions rest entirely with the boards and the scheme authorities.
Nothing on this site is legal or official advice. For binding information about your own application, rely on the official portal, your school and your education board.
